Dream: Winch Design presents an idea for an 80-meter Simply Custom superyacht

Oceanco’s Simply Custom line of 80-meter superyachts, dubbed Reverie, has its first renderings unveiled by British design company Winch Design. In 2023, the range made its debut at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.

The Simply Custom model, to be constructed by Lateral Naval Architects on a tried-and-true basis, intends to provide a new kind of customizable superyacht. The concept of reverie is “a state of being pleasantly lost in one’s thoughts or a daydream,” which is mirrored in the yacht’s straightforward outlines and finely carved hull. Soft lighting and a neutral atmosphere are depicted in the initial designs.

The three-decker yacht’s main feature is its “beach and wellness” theme, which includes a spa on the lower deck, a gym, and waterfront access that leads to a shaded pool at the back. In order to bring family enjoyment to “an often underused space” and lessen the demand for air conditioning equipment by mixing internal and outside spaces, the design also incorporates a “pool lounge” on the main deck.

Owners can choose between two layouts: an aft master bedroom that is privately connected to an owner’s lounge and large sun deck, or a forward-facing master suite with a forward pool terrace. In the meanwhile, visitors are well-appointed in suites that combine a bedroom and a living area, and there is a special lounge located on the forward upper deck.
