Dr. Dre showcased his comedic chops in a hilarious skit for Jimmy Kimmel Live! aired on Tuesday (March 19th), proving he’s more than just a producer and rapper.
Joined by his frequent collaborators Snoop Dogg, 50 Cent, and Eminem, Dre took on the role of a doctor in a spoof of the popular ABC drama Grey’s Anatomy, aptly titled Dre’s Anatomy. The full skit can be watched below.
The comedic scenario centered around Jimmy Kimmel’s purportedly lacking genitalia, with Dre delivering the punchline as he exclaimed, “What the heck is this? This man has no penis,” upon examining Kimmel.
Dr. Broadus, played by Snoop Dogg, joined in the examination with a magnifying glass, while 50 Cent brought in a telescope to aid in the impromptu surgery. However, the team soon realized that Kimmel had actually come in for a colonoscopy.
After administering anesthesia, which suspiciously resembled weed smoke, the group of doctors turned musicians, including Dre, Snoop, and 50 Cent, used the hospital machines to recreate the beat for “Still D.R.E.” and initiated an impromptu dance party.
Eminem made a cameo appearance towards the end, starring in a promo for his own fictional medical drama, EM, with the tagline “You only get one shot.”
The appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! followed Dre’s recent induction into the Hollywood Walk of Fame, where he was joined by Snoop Dogg, 50 Cent, and Eminem. During his interview with Kimmel, Dre also dropped the bombshell news that Eminem will be releasing a new album in 2024, much to the excitement of fans.
