Tennis icon Serena Williams has stepped into the world of beauty with the launch of her own brand, Wyn Beauty.

With 23 Grand Slam titles under her belt, Williams brings her expertise from the court to the cosmetics industry, offering a range of products designed for active lifestyles.

The debut collection features 10 makeup essentials, including the MVP lip and cheek tint, a hydrating skin tint, soft matte creamy concealer, and waterproof liquid eyeliner.

Williams, 42, revealed to People that Wyn Beauty has been a passion project six years in the making, with its development gaining momentum after her retirement from tennis in September 2022.

Drawing from her 27-year athletic career, Williams identified unmet needs in the makeup space that her collection aims to address. “I’ve always been into beauty,” she shared. “But when you’re a tennis player, there’s only so much that you can do because you’re out there on the court for hours. You move and sweat a lot, and you wipe everything away.”

Williams emphasized the importance of looking presentable amidst the rigors of professional tennis, especially during quick turnarounds between matches and press conferences.

Reflecting on her journey to find the right products to represent herself effectively, Williams recognized the challenges of maintaining appearance standards under intense physical exertion.
