Admire the resort paradise of the $30 million Russell Westbrook, featuring a wine room, bar, and large cinema

The top player for the Los Angeles Lakers, Russell Westbrook, is reportedly looking to sell his Brentwood home of four years for $30 million while trade rumors are rampant.

Westbrook, a former MVP and nine-time all-star who recently joined the Lakers, spent $19.75 million on a brand-new mansion in 2018. The house had been owned by Australian actor Anthony LaPaglia, who appeared in the television series “Without a Trace.”

In Brentwood Park, a posh area where stars like Judd Apatow and Al Michaels have formerly owned properties, Westbrook’s house is a half-acre in size. It is located only a few blocks from one of the several estates owned by LeBron James.

About 13,000 square feet in size, the custom home has 6 bedrooms, 8 bathrooms, and plenty of wood, marble, and glass in the common areas. A wine cellar, wet bar, and home theater are among the additional amenities of the living room, which also includes a vaulted ceiling and custom built-ins.

The balcony and deck on the second story overlook the lush backyard, which has a pool, spa, and play area. As befits an NBA player, the patio has a hoops.

The listing is being handled by two agents: Donnell Beverly Jr. of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties and Bjorn Farrugia of Hilton & Hyland.

Westbrook, a native of Long Beach, succeeded at Leuzinger High School before going on to play two times as the UCLA Bruins’ captain and lead the Bruins to the national championship game. The 33-year-old former NBA MVP will be selected by the Lakers in the 2021 NBA Draft after previously playing for the Thunder, Rockets, and Wizards.

He has lived in Los Angeles before. He had previously paid $4.375 million for a Beverly Crest house he had acquired from reality TV star Scott Disick in 2015.
